What if I can’t play an instrument?
Don’t worry — I’m a multi-instrumentalist and I’m happy to record the instruments for you!
What if I don’t know how to record?
I’ll guide you through the recording process and even provide a recording template for a free DAW, along with advice on getting set up. If you’re still not confident, I can handle the instrumentation for you.
What if the song isn’t in the right key for my voice?
No problem! I can transpose the song to suit your vocal range and re-record any parts as needed to make sure everything fits your voice.
How long will it take?
Timeframes vary depending on the scope. For full songwriting, production and mixing, you can expect a maximum turnaround of 60 days. You’ll receive a tailored timeline after your free consultation.
How will I know what stage my project is at?
You’ll have access to an online progress tracker, so you can see exactly where things are at any time. I also respond to important messages within 24 hours, so you’re never left wondering what’s happening.
How will you know how I want my song to sound?
We’ll have a detailed consultation to explore your creative vision. I’ll ask for reference tracks or artists and check in early in the process with a demo of the verse and chorus to confirm the direction.
Will I hear the song before it’s finished?
Yes — I’ll send you an early demo of the verse and chorus with basic production. This is your chance to confirm the vibe and make sure we’re on the same page before I finish the full track.
Can I give feedback during the project?
Absolutely! You’ll get 3 rounds of revisions for songwriting and production, and 3 rounds of revisions for mixing and mastering. Additional revisions can be arranged at an extra cost.
What if I only have lyrics or a rough idea?
That’s completely fine. Whether you’ve written part of a song or just have a concept, I’ll help turn it into a fully finished track.
What will I receive when it’s finished?
You’ll receive either a release-ready WAV master with grouped backing files (if you’ve chosen the Full Commercial Song Package), or a demo-quality track with individual raw stems (if you’ve selected the Produced Demo Package).
Do I keep the rights to the song?
Yes — you’ll retain full ownership of your song. However, as the songwriter and/or producer, I ask to be credited accordingly.
Because I take a percentage of royalties (from PRS, DistroKid, etc.) as part of our agreement, we’ll formalise the exact split and terms after the project is complete.
This way, you own the song, and any future earnings are shared fairly.
Do you work with beginners?
Absolutely! Whether you’re new to songwriting or already have a few tracks out, I’ll guide you through the process and make sure it’s creative, fun, and stress-free.
Can you help me release or promote the track?
I’m happy to offer advice and point you towards useful tools and platforms to help with your release. For more in-depth marketing or PR, I’d recommend working with a professional music promotion company.
